Taking control of your life, can begin with a phone call. Valley Crisis Center is available around the clock. The Valley Crisis Center program provides the following: safe transitional housing for women and their children; counseling for individuals or group; information and referral in the areas of legal, financial, medical and vocational; 24-hour crisis line, telephone counseling, information and referral; Rape Crisis, 24-hour crisis line, telephone counseling, information and referral; Community education (public. speaking to organizations, churches, clubs, schools, professional training); Court mandated domestic violence orientation. Our services are available to any person who needs them regardless of your ability to pay.

The CATCH program - Charitable Assistance To Community's Homeless" in Boise and Caldwell- primarily assists homeless families with children younger than 18. The program is also available to young adults, ages 18 to 22, who are aging out of foster care.
**How CATCH program works? - The case manager will work with four shelters (Hope's Door, Lighthouse Rescue Mission, Salvation Army and Valley Crisis), as well as with WICAP, to receive referrals for families that meet the program qualifications. Once a family is determined to be eligible, that family will sign a lease directly with a landlord and CATCH of Canyon County will pay the rent, with funds donated by businesses, faith-based organizations, private individuals and stimulus dollars.

Safe Place Ministries provides a group of direct services to women recovering from domestic violence, sexual assault, and childhood sexual abuse. Most of our direct client services are free. Rather than using a fee schedule, they use a donation system that accommodates all clients regardless of their ability to pay.
Each time a client receives a free service, they make a donation to SPM that takes into consideration the service they received and their own financial status (a donation as close to covering the costs as they can, given their personal resources.)

Federal program was established in 2010 to provide funds for “Evidence-Based Home Visiting Programs.”

Victim of domestic violence or sexual assault; all victim's of crime

Crisis based intervention. 24 hours. Crime scene assistance to offer advocacy for victims of domestic violence or sexual assault/abuse. Offers support groups, information and referral to community resources and helps establish protection orders for victims.

Provides an innovative, teamwork approach between law enforcement and victim service advocates to provide direct, immediate services and support to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse victims. The program provides direct services to victims of all crimes however we primarily work with domestic violence and sexual assault. The two full-time crime victim advocates are on call 24-hours a day and are available to respond "on scene" with officers to provide immediate assistance to victims. Support is on-going and can include shelter, community resource referral and medical, court, and prosecution assistance. The Post Falls program is a model law enforcement and victim service program.

YWCA of Lewiston/Clarkston is a private, non-profit social service organization that operates a comprehensive program serving Washington and Idaho residents. Located in Lewiston and Clarkston, the agency serves families in the surrounding counties.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS. A variety of children's programs are available, including: Children's Group, Summer School, and Kid's Club. More information is available on their web site.

EMERGENCY SERVICES. The program consists of services to all victims of crime, including domestic violence and sexual assault; a living center and support services for homeless families a 24-hour crisis line; information and referral and emergency services.

The Program operates two shelters: 1) Domestic Violence Shelter for women and children of domestic violence. 2) Homeless Center for families with children. There also is an after school program for children at the Homeless Center.

HOMELESS PROGRAM: The YWCA's seven-unit Greenhouse Apartments were completed in 1991. They Provide: Temporary housing for families with children. Support services, including food, gas, transportation and childcare. Case management for adults and children. Support groups. Parenting classes. Assistance finding housing, employment and other resources.

DOMESTIC ABUSE SERVICES
Domestic abuse is the physical abuse, threat of physical abuse, or the emotional abuse by a relative or person with whom the victim resides. We provide: Temporary shelter for physically and/or emotionally abused victims and their children. 24-hour hotline for crisis intervention, emotional support and information and referral. Individual and group counseling. Support groups for women and youth. Assistance with other social service organizations, law enforcement officers, and the court system. Legal advocacy, including assistance in obtaining protection orders. Education about domestic violence dynamics. Monthly classes on legal issues and domestic violence. There is no fee for domestic violence services.

SEXUAL ASSAULT SERVICES: Sexual assault refers to all types of sexual violence with or without a weapon, sexual penetration, incest or unwanted touch. Any person may be a victim of sexual assault regardless of their age or sex. We provide: 24-hour crisis intervention at hospitals, police stations, or by phoning 746-9655; temporary shelter for victims and their children; individual and group counseling for adult, teen and child victims; 24-hour hotline for emotional support and information on, and referral to, available services; personal support includes coordination with other social service agencies; medical advocacy; support group,
legal advocacy with law enforcement and the court system and help applying for Crime Victims Compensation. There is no fee for sexual assault services.

VICTIMS OF CRIME SERVICES: In the United States, a violent crime occurs every 19 seconds. Every 24 minutes, someone is murdered. We provide services for victims of crime: 24-hour crisis intervention; legal advocacy including help obtaining crime victim's compensation; temporary shelter for victims who cannot stay in their own home; services for survivors of violent crime and family members of homicide victims; and other related services

Master’s level therapists and interns provide therapy services to adult and child victims of emotional and physical abuse, rape and sexual assault and to survivors with co-occurring disorders (substance use and mental health disorders). Court Advocacy Services

The WCA provides assistance to petitioners seeking protection orders in Ada County. Trained advocates help with filling out petitions, provide an educational orientation, and offer support during the court process. By sharing our experiences, victories, and hopes with one another, we open the door to healing in our lives. As we progress through the principles and steps, we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power—Jesus Christ. Celebrate Recovery has something for the whole family. Prosecuting Attorneys Office to give information to all victims as they Work their way through the legal
and court system.
The Victim Advocate Program provides support, information, education, and referral services to victims
and their immediate families, witnesses, and survivors. Additionally, our advocates are available to assist
with restitution calculations, applications to the Crime Victims’ Compensation Program, victim impact
statements, victim rights education, court escort for hearings, medical advocacy Including
accompaniment to sexual assault forensic exams and overall support. We also provide crisis advocacy

Family Safety Network is a grass roots non-profit organization that serves as the sole provider of family violence victim assistance in Teton Valley. Our prevention and crisis services lend support to adults, teens and children troubled by abuse, sexual assault, or living with family violence. Project DOVE, located in Ontario, Oregon, provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Our service area includes all of Malheur County, Oregon, and Payette County, Idaho. Family Services Alliance offers 24-hour crisis intervention, emergency shelter, referrals to individual counseling for victims and secondary victims of domestic violence. Family Services Alliance also offers education about domestic violence and sexual assault public presentations.

The Advocates’ mission is to teach people of all ages how to build and maintain healthy relationships. We accomplish this through education, shelter and support services.

ARMS offers a series of classes designed to help women walk through their healing from domestic violence and abuse. Classes are free and women may join at any time. While there are a total of 15 lessons, women may attend as long as they find the program helpful. The classes meet weekly.
