Deric V. Ravsten, D.O.
Diplomate in Psychiatry, ABPN Dr. Ravsten is a native of Southeast Idaho, graduated from Idaho State University, attended the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa before completion of his Psychiatry residency at the University of Utah. He is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with a broad range of practice experience including work in outpatient and inpatient mental health settings. His professional passion stems from the challenge of helping patients to feel better and to do more in their lives. Kristy L. Christensen, LCPC
Kristy obtained two graduate degrees from Idaho State University. The first, Master of Science, Psychology was prompted by her devotion to understand “why” people do what they do. The second, Master of Counseling, Mental Health, was inspired by her desire to know “how” to help people realize the outcomes they want to achieve. This educational background has assisted her in being able to provide clients with effective and efficient assistance in reaching their goals and helping them to live a more fulfilling life. Work Experience includes: Counseling for adolescents, adults and couples dealing with issues surrounding depression, adjustment, anxiety, anger, violence, communication, addiction, relationship issues, as well as evaluations and education for adults charged with domestic violence offences.

Kebai Bills, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant Kebai Bills, has joined Life Change Associates, PLLC with the goal of serving the psychiatric field by following her profession passion: to erase the stigma associated with mental illness and simply help people enjoy life to its fullest. She obtained her education through the physician assistant program at Idaho State University and completed her internship rotations throughout Idaho and Washington. With fond memories of growing up in the state, Kebai has remained in Southeast Idaho for the past several years, treating individuals with mental illness in settings ranging from community mental health centers to psychiatric hospitals. She has also taken part in forensic psychiatry in Bannock, Bingham and Power Counties.

Justice Isaacson, LPC
Justice Isaacson is a Nationally Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor, and has openings now for children and adults. Justice graduated from ISU and has worked with the Department of Welfare and other community agencies, treating individuals and families with a wide range of mental health concerns. Justice is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and proudly served her country for five years. Working with veterans and individuals with trauma is a particular area of interest and expertise in her current practice. Justice believes in working from a holistic standpoint to provide the most effective and compassionate care possible to her clients. Life Change Associates provides a supportive atmosphere for this kind of care with other caring professionals who share a common vision.

Marco Erickson, MS
Marco became a motivational speaker at the age of 19 combining his musical talents with the message of substance abuse prevention for adolescents. He realized after a brief time that it was necessary to further his education to make the greatest impact for helping those with substance abuse and mental health disorders. He attended Northwest College, Montana State University Billings, and finally received his Master’s degree in Psychology from Walden University. Marco is a Parenting with Love and Logic Facilitator with a strong background in substance abuse prevention programs, youth facilitation, and has been working with both children and adults mental health disorders in Idaho for over 10 years.

Idaho War Veteran's Emergency Grant
A grant provided to eligible individuals in accordance with Idaho Code, IDAPA 21 Title 01 Chapter 2, for the purpose of purchasing the necessities of daily living in a time of temporary emergency needs.

Applicants must have wartime service under honorable conditions of at least 90 days; must be a bona fide resident of Idaho; must have been an Idaho resident during wartime service or have been an Idaho resident for at least the past five year; and must have suffered a catastrophic even or disability within the last 90 days which resulted in the applicant losing his/her job.

Applicants may be the veteran, surviving spouse or dependent child.

This is the only financial assistance provided by the Division and its qualifications are very specific as set by the Idaho Legislature.

We offer a complete referral service to provide veterans with accurate and current information on the entire range of issues associated with veterans’ benefits and entitlements. This service is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Messages may be left 24 hours a day.

Where2 drivers must pass a national criminal background check and drug testing. In addition they have become CPR/First Aid certified, maintain a clean driving record and have taken defensive driving courses. The screening is done on a yearly basis.

The Warrior to Warrior Veteran Peer Support Program is designed to provide current Military Service Members of the Idaho Army National Guard with guidance and mentorship. Volunteer Veterans will be trained to link Soldiers facing challenges with available resources. The Volunteer Veterans will attend unit drills and get to know and listen to Service Members. Contacts between the Volunteer Veteran and unit Soldiers are confidential.

Financial Peace University is a dvd-based curriculum taught by Dave Ramsey (www.daveramsey.com). It emphasizes the need to live debt free, to budget, to save, to accumulate wealth and to give. It is a 13-week class that is offered one or two times per year based on the needs in the community. These are the main topics taught during the 13 lessons: 1. Super Savers teaches the importance of saving money and how to get the best return on your money. 2. Cash Flow Planning will teach us step-by-step how to put together a zero-based monthly budget and walk through how to complete all of the financial management forms with samples included. 3. Relating with Money is about the importance of working together in relationships and how we handle money. 4. Buying Only Big, Big Bargains teaches us Dave's personal techniques on how to negotiate and get the very best deals when buying something. 5. Dumping Debt teaches how to get out of debt and stay out of debt. 6. An on-campus center located in Michigan that provides a productivity-based program open to eligible families of current military personnel, veterans, and descendants of members of the VFW and its Auxiliary. Participating families can be one or both parents with children under age 18 in their custody. Services may include case management, housing, childcare and other support so they can productively work toward goals for a better future.
