Our mission is to provide integrated services that support the recovery of people with psychiatric disabilities. We endeavor to create a collaborative environment that fosters hope, stability, and respect among persons served, employees, and our community.

The Idaho Home Outreach Program for Empowerment (ID-HOPE) provides Critical Time Intervention (CTI) services. CTI is a time-limited intervention lasting 9 months; it is divided into 3 specific phases and focuses on a limited number of treatment areas. The CTI team works with participants to create a recovery plan and build and strengthen linkages to both formal and informal supports in the community during the first phase. The CTI team works with participants to evaluate and adjust community resources as needed, assess and build upon strengths, and reinforce community linkages during the second phase. Participants continue to manage their formal and informal supports with support from the CTI team while transferring care to community supports during the third phase.

We offer a reduced rate for those who qualify. The fee is based on the number of people in the household and the annual household gross income. Our fee ranges from 6 to 60 dollars a session and in some special circumstances may be waived altogether. Our sliding scale services are performed by supervised counseling interns who are participating in the LIFE Counseling Center Internship Program. Our sliding fee scale is in place so that no one is turned down for services.

OPPORTUNITIES UNLIMITED, INC. operates as a private, nonprofit organization for the purpose of providing evaluation, training, employment, education, placement and support services to individuals with mental health, physical and developmental disabilities, including people with severe disabilities and people who are disadvantaged. These services are provided to increase their level of independent functioning, vocational skills and earned income in order to decrease their reliance upon public and private support.


THE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES offered by Opportunities Unlimited, Inc. are Medicaid funded and conducted in such a manner that no person will be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination or segregation under such programs and services on the grounds of race, creed, color, age, national origin, gender, physical or mental disability.

About Balance Mental Health is a mental health agency with the philosophy that a balanced life encourages growth, strength, and emotional health. We provided mental health services for adults and children. Adult services include: psychiatric/pharmacological services, psychosocial rehabilitation, counseling, and case management. Children services include: psychiatric/pharmacological services, psychosocial rehabilitation, and counseling.
