Project Safe Place is a network of safe locations throughout the community where youth victims, youth at risk or youth in danger can turn for help. The Safe Place locations have trained individuals who participate in the Safe Place program. They will assess the situation and make the appropriate referral or contact. Safe Place Sites are limited to business locations and public buildings. Currently, there are 85 businesses and public buildings that are Safe Place locations in Pocatello, Chubbuck, Inkom, American Falls, Fort. Hall, Lava, Downey, and McCammon.

Hotline is staffed 24 hours per day by volunteers. Provides a variety of intervention, treatment and support services to youth and families in Bannock County.

Family Counseling Program provides crises intervention, individual and family counseling, mediation services and competency building on an outpatient basis to at risk youth and their families. Program includes the following components: Child Custody & Family Mediation; Victim Assistance Counseling; Victim/Offender Mediation; Testing & Assessment; Social Skills/Anger Management; Competency Building.

Out of Home Placement Program provides 8 out of home placements for young people in the custody of the State under Child Protection or Childrens Mental Health. Out of care is provided in the following two settings:
**Transitional Group Care Project - structured group care for adolescents in the custody of the State of Idaho.
**Treatment Family Program - a professional foster care program providing community based and family centered treatment to young people in State custody.

Bannock House provides emergency shelter, counseling and aftercare services to runaway & homeless youth and their families.

Runaway Homeless Youth Project provides emergency shelter only for adolescents. Counseling and aftercare services to runaway and homeless. They can house 13 youths, co-ed from ages 10-1.

Programs are administered by the Bannock Youth Foundation, a private, non-profit organization that has been providing a variety of intervention, treatment and support to youth and families in Bannock County since 1978.

Provides information to the community on Domestic Violence.

Lemhi County Crisis Intervention (LCCI) offers a number of programs to strengthen families. Some of these programs include: **Winning at Life - a personal growth class that is Christian based and open to the public; **Boundaries - to teach women to set healthy boundaries with themselves and the relationships in their lives; and **Strong Girls Club - a group for juvenile girls to learn healthy living skills.

Provides a 24/7 reporting hotline (phone, text, live chat, email), information, and confidential referral to social and legal services for victims and survivors of human trafficking. The Hotline also receives tips about potential situations of sex and labor trafficking and facilitates reporting that information to the appropriate authorities in certain cases. A call center which provides information to health care professionals and the public related to possible poisoning emergencies.

ADWAS & hotline advocates offer many ways to support callers as we can:

• listen and provide emotional support
• provide information and referrals
• do domestic violence and sexual assault education
• brainstorm with callers ways to keep safe

Advocates can also work with Deaf and hearing friends and family members of Deaf survivors. Helpers can call us to learn more about intervention strategies and how to support survivors.

ADWAS also gives hearing domestic violence and sexual assault programs and shelters cultural training, support, education, and technical assistance to improve their accessibility for Deaf survivors. YouthLine is a free 24-hour teen-to-teen youth crisis and support service provided by Lines for Life (a non-profit that works to prevent substance abuse and suicide). YouthLine operates a national helpline that provides crisis support and referrals via call, text, and chat. The YouthLine is answered by teen volunteers daily from 4pm-10pm PST (and by adults at all other times). Translation services are available upon request. YouthLine also operates a peer-supported outreach program to destigmatize mental health challenges, increase awareness for mental health and wellness, and encourage youth to reach out for help.
