Welcome to the December 2020 issue of The Portal Periodical, which brings you updates on changes and additions to Portal, alerts you to relevant news & information, and solicits feedback to help us improve the Portal. Want to get in touch? Please provide Feedback.

We continue to update our COVID-19 page with national and local links to useful and credible resources.

Our Services Directory now features a map so that users can easily identify resources within a desired geographical area. The map will load for both key term searches or category searches within the directory.

Within My Lists, users can now use bulk actions to delete, copy, and share more than one list at a time. The bulk copy feature also allows you to merge multiple lists into a single list.

Sign-in to your account or register to test out these new My Lists features. Remember to select your state from the dropdown menu at the top of the screen and set it as your home site for the most personalized viewing experience. My Lists can help you organize and maintain personalized lists of resource providers which can be share via printing or URL links.

Meet Amanda Butler; she has been an editorial coordinator for the Medical Home Portal since October 2018. She manages the updating, review, and creation of content in the For Parents and Families section, and assists with other projects as needed. Amanda has an MS in English with a professional background in technical writing and editing. She recently completed an MA in Counseling Psychology and also works as a marriage and family therapist. Amanda believes strongly in the importance of helping others, and enjoys knowing that her work with the Portal provides support to children with special health care needs and their families.
