Mental Health Help in the Portal
We’ve recently added a Diagnosis Module on Anxiety Disorders. Written with the primary care clinician in mind, the module provides descriptions of the various types of anxiety, the
role of the medical home, ICD-10 codes, practice guidelines, screening tools, management strategies including medication information,
informational resources, and local community and mental health service providers.
The Portal along with Utah 2-1-1 and Help Me Grow Utah, participated in a recent webinar titled Community Connections for Behavioral Health Services: Linking and Supporting Your Clinical Work as a part of the Behavioral Health Outreach Webinar Series presented by the Utah Chapter of the AAP, Primary Children's Hospital,
& the University of Utah. The webinar was an opportunity to show providers the Portal’s Utah Services Directory
The Portal is working to add even more private mental & behavioral health providers in the Utah Services Directory. Our survey asks for providers’ credentials, experience with different mental health conditions, treatment approaches used,
and training in trauma informed care.
The Medical Home Portal and the Bureau of CSHCN’s Integrated Services
Program (ISP) encourage medical homes to ask for assistance when faced with complex
cases. For care coordination help and more information, click on the Get Help in
Utah link, or give the ISP team a call at 1-844-863-0311.
Save the Date: March 15th is the next UCCCN Learning Session
Please save the morning of March 15th, 2017 for our 2nd Utah Children's Care Coordination Network Learning Session, to be held on the University of Utah campus (during their Spring Break). If you’d like to attend, please
email mindy.tueller@utah.edu.
We are still working on the agenda, but there has been a lot of interest in coordinating/ collaborating with insurers and
insurer care managers. Please help us understand what specifically you’d like to have answered from insurers to allow us
to reach out to them in preparation for this event. We’d appreciate having your specific questions for insurers, by January
15th. Send them to mindy.tueller@utah.edu.
